So a few months ago we got amazing test footage from a proposed Deadpool movie with Ryan Reynolds. Well whether this was all a plan by FOX or we actually brought it back from production limbo, the Deadpool film project is officially back on and is scheduled for a February 12th 2016 release date. Valentines Movie Date Night? I think so!

As of right now, not much is known about the project. Reynolds hasn’t even been cast yet on the role; but considering he’s such a fan and people/filmmakers connected to it love him, I think this is a safe bet. The film will be rated R and original Director Tom Miller is still attached which is all amazing news – judging from the test footage! Even better is that this film will have NOTHING to do with X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

“[Deadpool] will actually have no connection to the one that was in Wolverine,” – Reynolds.

So rejoice boys and girls, because the Merc with the Mouth is finally getting a film! Stay tuned and I’ll bring you updates as I get them. Until then, I’m going to watch the test footage and Deadpool episode of Ultimate Spiderman over and over again.
