With only a few more weeks until Marvel’s Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier hits theaters, we didn’t really need any more trailers/sneak peaks; but as always Marvel went above and beyond the call of duty – and its awesome!

In my last Captain America article, I talked about how this film is going to be more than just your average superhero film. With Captain America fighting against S.H.I.E.L.D itself at times, this is not only going to be the action-adventure film of the year, but also the political thriller we’d expect from a Bourne movie. This exclusive 4 minutes first look at the film – along with additional teaser trailer – completely confirms that belief.

The banter between Black Widow and Captain America about dating is amazing, but the style the film was shot makes you actually think you are watching a Bourne movie – a very action-oriented film, but with layer upon layer of political intrigue and deception. If these first few minutes were meant to get you even more excited for the film, then it worked perfectly.

Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier hits theaters April 4! Also be sure to stay till the very end. Interviews with screenwriters and producers have shown that the ending and post-credits will have huge ramifications for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will lead directly into Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.
