Ted 2: Legalize Ted Trailer – ‘Busting Out’ Marriage, Lawsuit & Much More

Ted 2

In 2012 we learned that “nothing is more powerful than a young boy’s wish. Except an Apache helicopter. An Apache helicopter has machine guns AND missiles. It is an unbelievably impressive complement of weaponry, an absolute death machine.” Well this summer, we’re going to learn if a Teddy Bear has a soul – at least as far as the State of Massachusetts is concerned. Cue Sequel!

That’s right, Ted is back and this time he’s the one getting married. Though problems arise when he and his lady, Tami-Lynn, plan to have kids – don’t think too hard about it. Ted must now get ace lawyer Samantha Leslie Jackson – yes, Sam L Jackson – to prove in a court of Law that Ted is a ‘person’. Throw in the return of Flash Gordon and some new cast members like Morgan Freeman, and you have the recipe for a hilarious sequel to the 2012 comedy by Seth MacFarlane.

Now one curious absence from the film is Lori – Mark Wahlberg’s romantic foil played by Mila Kunis. I’m sure it’ll be addressed in the film and some have even speculated/joked that Ted accidentally kills her. Who knows? But what does return is all the awful and ‘OMG DID HE JUST SAY THAT’ humor we’ve come to expect from anything with MacFarlane’s name on it. As for whether or not Seth will appear as himself in the film – like he did in last year’s A Million Ways To Die In The West – remains to be seen. His facial expressions and acting were spectacular; but if he’s just providing the voice for Ted again, I won’t complain.

Legalize Ted Ted 2

If Ted was all the jokes Seth couldn’t use in Family Guy, and all the jokes in A Million Ways To Die In The West were stuff he couldn’t use in Ted, does this make Ted 2 all the jokes he couldn’t tell in A Million Ways To Die In The West. We’ll find out June 26th when Ted 2 hits theaters. Though judging by this preliminary trailer, I think that’s a safe bet. So until Ted comes again – PHRASING! – let’s do our best to #LegalizeTed
